In a red lacquered album from the 50's, the first cover is missing.

Tibor Burger (1912-1977) doctor, professor, doctor of medical sciences. In 1935 he became a member of the illegal Communist Workers Party. In 1938 he served in the International Brigade as a medical first lieutenant in the Spanish Civil War. After the army's collapse he refuged to Budapest where he was sent to jankers in 1942. He escaped, and in 1944 he participated the illegal party work once again.

Burger Tibor (1912-1977): orvos, egyetemi tanár, az orvostudományok doktora (1962). 1935-ben az illegális KMP tagja lett. 1938-ban a spanyol polgárháborúban a nemzetközi brigádban orvos-főhadnagy, majd a francia hadseregnek a katonaorvosa. A hadsereg összeomlása után Budapestre menekült, 1942-ben büntetőszázadba került, ahonnan megszökött. 1944 végén Budapesten ismét bekapcsolódott az illegális pártmunkába. 1948-tól a főváros tiszti-főorvosa. 1951-től a János Kórház igazgató főorvosa, 1957-74-ben az Országos Közegészségügyi Intézet főigazgatója volt. 1962-től haláláig az Orvostovábbképző Intézet közegészségtani és járványügyi tanszékén tanszékvezető egyetemi tanár. A Magyar Higiénikusok Társaságának elnöke és a Magyar Urbanisztikai Társaság alelnöke.
