Tom Jung is an American advertising art director, graphic designer and illustrator best known for his movie poster art, and a motion picture storyboard artist. Born in Boston, his career began in New York where he worked in advertising as an art director. In 1958 he began to work on ad campaigns for foreign films aimed at American audiences. During the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s he was a art director focusing on the design and illustration of movie posters in Hollywood. The one-sheet poster for Star Wars (1977) is among his notable work. Since the late 1990s he has worked extensively as a storyboard artist.
