Sexton, Anne : Live or Die
- description
- additional information
To Live or Die is a collection of poems. I borrowed the book because it had been a long time since I read poems after the Nick Laird collection - To a fault. Which reminds me, I never really wrote about that. It was quite an interesting collection – all poems were, so-to-speak, dedicated to a fault. I dont remember the specifics, but it had some really good ideas. American Contemporary poets have not really impressed me that much, but then I may be misjudging simply because poetry is exotic to me and its really quite difficult to overlook the American stereotype of cheese burger eating generic male and imagine a creative thinker behind the charade.
